Morgan Stay Extended

Crewe have extended Dean Morgan's loan till the end of the season after a fairly impressive stint. Morgan is on loan from fellow League One side Luton Town and has already made four appearances for the Alex, and scored once in the 3-0 win at Gillingham earlier this month.

His original 28 day loan was due to expire on April 3rd but Monday's trip to Walsall was Morgan's last game for the club due to rules stating he cannot play against Luton this Saturday.

Deano is still unable to line up against his parent club this weekend but his involvement for the final five games will be a massive boost for Steve Holland having seen a dramatic turn in form since the arrival of Morgan.

It seemingly ends a good deadline day for the Alex after securing the signing of Steve Jones from Burnley this morning. With the loan deadline approaching at 5pm today, it's unlikely that any more signings will be made at Gresty Road though Ryan Lowe is being linked with a move outwards.
