Keeper Stars In Wales Win

Owain Fon Williams helped Wales U-21s to a 2-1 win over Bosnia this afternoon. It was tight going with Wales losing 1-0 to a 56th minute Bosnia goal till former Alex loanee Simon Church popped up with a goal in the 86th minute. Wales rounded off a fantastic finish to the match with a 88th minute Ched Evans goal.

The win means that Wales are in control of their 2009 European U-21 Championships qualifying group, four points ahead of France and Romania - though Romania have one game in hand over Wales. A win against Romania on August 20th will secure Wales' place at the Championships in Sweden in June 2009.
