'If It's Football, It's Vital'

It's demoralising for everyone

Hartlepool United manager Danny Wilson was far from happy with his team as they crumbled at Gresty Road. The Monkey Hangers showed very little as the Alex strolled to three points on a wintery afternoon.

Having recently been on a decent bit of form the defeat brought Danny Wilson's men back down to earth. Speaking to hartlepoolunited.premiumtv.co.uk Wilson said it was a demoralising performance from his team:

'Once again individual errors are to blame and that has been the story of our away season really. It's demoralising for everyone after a performance and result like that.

'We came out a little bit in the second half and put them under some pressure but really the game had gone away from us a little bit by then.

'You think we have turned a corner and then we're right back to square one.'
