Lowe Future In Doubt

Lowe Future In Doubt

Ryan Lowe's future at Gresty Road looks in major doubt after being dropped from the 16 last night. The former Shrewsbury midfielder has played a major role in the season up till January but a series of loan signings has seen Lowe slowly fade out of the first team picture.

Lowe hasn't started a match since the 1-0 home defeat to Leeds on the 14th January and last night's exclusion from the 16 man team looks to have been the final straw. It's now expected that Lowe could be on his way out of the club entirely.

Steve Holland had previously rejected interest from Chester City, amongst others, to take their former midfielder on loan but it is now thought that Holland will allow Lowe to leave before the loan window closes in the next two weeks.

He's a bit hit and miss. At his best he could get into the majority of League One sides with ease but he only really peaks once a season. I would have thought he'd tear League Two to pieces... so I hope we don't release him.
