Crewe Fail To Sign Addicks Ace

Steve Holland has revealed that the club have failed in attempts to sign Charlton Athletic's Izale McLeod. The Alex missed out to Colchester this week, where McLeod signed a loan deal.

McLoed made his name at MK Dons where he scored 54 goals in 105 league games. He signed for Charlton in the summer of 2007 for over 1million but has as of yet been unable to make an impact with just one goal.

Holland continues his search, with the news that Nicky Maynard has pulled a hamstring during todays game in Northampton.
