Alex Held In Bore Draw

Crewe were held to a 0-0 draw today at Northampton Town. Both sides will feel they should maybe have taken all three points, with the Cobblers edging it on possession and the Alex edging it on the amount of scoring chances.

Steven Schumacher went closest for the Alex when his shot was parried onto the bar by 'keeper Mark Bunn. The Railwaymen also had a ball cleared off the line in the first half.

Northampton though slowly took over in the final quarter of the game and could have had a goal themselves but for an in-form Ben Williams.

By the end it was destined for a 0-0, with 281 Alex fans watching on.
