Tommo Goes Out On Loan

Stuart Tomlinson has joined Burton Albion until the end of March. The young 'keeper has been promised a move away for much of the season after falling to number 3 keeper this season, as Owain fon Williams emerged as Ben Williams' number two.

The 22 year old has made 16 appearances for the Alex, with his best spell coming midway through last season where he played nine consecutive games in the run up to Christmas. However, he's only made one appearance this season, in the JPT defeat at Chester early in the season.

The move could well signal the end for Tommo's stay at Crewe, with his contract running out in the summer it seems unlikely that he will be kept on at Gresty Road.
