Lowe Linked With Chester

Ryan Lowe is being linked with Chester City by the News Of The World. The not-so-reliable Sunday paper says that Chester are lining up a loan bid to take the scouser back to the Deva Stadium. They also report that a bid of 50,000 from Chester was rejected during the January transfer window.

Lowe left Chester in murky circumstances in 2006 before joining the Alex on a free. He's gone on to have relative success and played a big part in both attack and midfield over the last 18 months. It does seem unlikely that any bid from Chester will be considered as Lowe continues to play an active role in the first team, despite sitting out the last two games on the bench.
